| IMPROVEMENT OF THE COMBAT EQUIPMENT COMPLEX OF A MILITARY SERVICEMAN BY THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INDIVIDUAL MEANS OF COUNTERING UNMANNED AIRCRAFTS |

In modern warfare, one of the greatest dangers for military personnel is unmanned aerial vehicles, whose operators can fly unnoticed close to soldiers for the purpose of observing them and possibly subsequently destroying them using onboard weapons. The article, taking into account the available world models of weapons and the experience of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, identifies recommendations and proposals for ensuring the protection of servicemen of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from identification and destruction by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) during the performance of combat missions. A list of requirements for individual means of countering UAVs was determined, namely: to have suitable effectiveness in terms of warning about drone danger, the effectiveness of individual camouflage of a serviceman and his equipment, the possibility of using light electronic warfare and special firearms to disable UAVs in case of critical need; to be light (no more than 5 kg in total weight), small in size (no more than 3 liters in total volume), convenient to use (not to burden a serviceman with complex setup or deployment procedures); be in a state of continuous readiness for use, with low consumption of electrical energy (no more than 1 A∙h per day). Individual means of countering UAVs were identified as elements of protection, destruction and life support systems as part of the combat equipment complexes of a serviceman of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in typical situations of their use, among which it should be noted a mobile rifle complex for aimed buckshot shooting at drones with a light electronic drone danger indicator in combination with specialized firearms and buckshot ammunition.
