Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of the organization of military demining in combat areas. The main factors influencing the effectiveness of the demining process are identified, and the sequence and methods of neutralizing dangerous areas by demining groups of military units are characterized. The composition, equipment and number of such groups are considered. It is emphasized that the Russian-Ukrainian war has led to the transformation of the training of engineer troops, in particular through the active use of the experience of peacekeeping operations. A key feature of sapper training is the practical orientation of training, which is realized through tactical and special training that simulates real combat conditions. Attention is focused on modern demining technologies, including the use of protective equipment, drones, robotic systems and other innovative solutions. It is proved that the development of competencies related to decision-making in combat is important for high-quality demining. It is also emphasized that as a result of Russian aggression, Ukraine has become the most mined country in the world, which necessitates the improvement of methods of engineering reconnaissance, search and identification of explosive objects. The existing approaches to military demining - military, operational and humanitarian - are analyzed with an emphasis on an integrated approach that combines organizational and technical aspects. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of international demining experience, especially with regard to the use of modern technologies. The shortcomings of traditional methods, such as manual demining, are considered, and the importance of using demining drones, robotic systems and remote demining is emphasized. The concept of training sappers is substantiated, which involves the development of professional competence, provision of modern equipment and the introduction of innovative approaches. Ways to improve the educational process are proposed, including interactive methods, the use of simulators and the development of criteria for evaluating specialists.
